Perfect Attendance: R.D.D.S. feels that our dancers who attend class every week
throughout the entire dance year should receive a trophy at the end of the year. At the
end of the Dance Recital on June 12th, we recognize those students who make it to class
every week. To be eligible, a student must be present at a class (the same class) 15 minutes
for a ½ hour class or 30 minutes for a one hour class. The student must be enrolled in the
class by the 1st lesson in October to qualify for a dance trophy. Please watch for postings
of those who have perfect attendance throughout the year hanging in the lobby and posted
on the website. Any discrepancies need to be pointed out immediately. Postings will be in
December, April, and June. Please do NOT bring sick children into the studio just to
receive perfect attendance recognition.
Saturday Class Perfect Attendance: Those who have perfect attendance in Saturday
classes will receive a T-Shirt at the end of the Dance Recital on June 12th. To be eligible
for a Saturday Class Perfect Attendance you must be enrolled in a R.D.D.S. Saturday class
and not miss for ANY reason other than a death in the immediate family. You must be
present for the ENTIRE class. Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made.
Birthday Postcards & Wall: Your Star should receive a R.D.D.S. birthday postcard in the
mail the week of his/her birthday. (If your Star does not receive a postcard in the mail for
their birthday, please let us know immediately so we can get another one sent out right
away.) At the beginning of each month, if your Star has a birthday for that month they
should have their picture taken at the front desk for us to proudly display on the birthday
wall and place on the website.
Great Job Card Program: Teachers watch for those stars who are doing a great job in
class or have been practicing on their own. That Star will receive a “Great Job” card in the
mail.
Personality Award: A dancer is selected as Miss/Mr. Personality at the end of each
revue. You must be present on stage during the award ceremony to receive the prestigious
award of Mr. or Miss Personality.
Most Outstanding Entertainment Award: At the end of the dance revue, the judges
will also select a number that they felt was the most outstanding. This group will receive a
special award during the award ceremony.
We hold special seminars throughout the dance year including Cheerleading, Hula, Irish &
more. We hope that you can attend!!
